Visiting Kyoto in Autumn is not complete without enjoying the beautiful view of Eikando Temple. Its location is not far from the well-known Nanzenji Temple and Philosopher's Path. Eikando Temple is one of the favorite destinations for foreign and domestic tourists alike.
Generally, in the second week of November the leaves around Tahoto Pagoda and Hojo Pond become bright red. So, make sure to visit Eikando Temple and take as many photos as possible!

I was just here two weeks ago and almost posted a photo story as well. What a stunning place! My favorite temple in Kyoto for fall leaves, I think.
