Yokohama Strawberry Festival 2025

Enjoy free strawberry sampling and more

When
Early - Late Feb 2025

The Yokohama Strawberry Festival runs for almost all of February, and showcases a wide range of ways to enjoy these delicious seasonal fruits. There will be free strawberry sampling with varieties from prefectures all across Japan, alongside a host of mouthwatering strawberry inspired desserts to enjoy.

A number of vendors will also be selling strawberry themed merchandise, including jewelry, key chains, umbrellas, and even business card cases. If that wasn't enough, the family-friendly event will also feature a strawberry shaped bounce house and playground for the kids (an additional fee applies).

Getting there

The Yokohama Strawberry Festival takes place at the Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse. The closest stations are Bashamichi (12 minute walk) and Nihon-Odori (6 minute walk) on the Minatomirai Line.

If you opt to drive to the venue, take the Minato Mirai or Yokohama Park exit from the Tokyo Expressway. There is paid parking available at a cost of 500 yen for the first hour, and then 250 yen for each 30 minutes thereafter.

I are some when came in early spring, bought them in Family Mart, and yes, they were really good! Here we have strawberries only in summer.
