There are six pleasant parks alongside Yokohama Bay. Shinko Park is wide open to the bay, sitting between Aka-renga Park and Rinko Park. In this park, you will find quite a few local people taking naps, fishing, jogging, reading, and doing whatever else catches their fancy. A few times a year we have fireworks festivals in this area and huge numbers of people come here to sit on the grass and enjoy it. An index of this series is here.

The hills, green grass, and pine are charming.

Take a stroll along the bay front and next to these beautiful pine trees.

The Intercontinental Hotel is just a minute away.

The sky here is gorgeous.

There is the sea, the promenade, and the grass and trees.

What a great place to take a nap!

This is the very inviting entrance to the park.

A great place to sit, read a book, and just relax.

Minato Mirai is just a few minutes away.

This park is beautiful at night as well. This photo was taken just after a fireworks event.

And oasis in the middle of the city!
