Established in 1995, the Odawara Flower Garden is heaven for floral fans. There are numerous seasonal blooms found here, and one of the most popular times of year to visit is when the plum trees blossom. An annual festival is held during this period, where attendees can appreciate hundreds of different plum tree varieties including early, mid, and late blooming types.
Along with the blossoms to enjoy, the event includes plenty of other fun activities. There will be plum guided tours where garden staff explain the varieties found on the grounds, a plant-dyeing craft event, a limited-time plum inspired food menu, and more.
Admission to the garden is free of charge, but there is a fee of ¥ 200 for those who want to check out the tropical greenhouse on their visit.
