Kawasaki's Nihon Minka-en

Not only a paradise for woodworms!

If you have seen enough of the millions of modern structures inside and outside of Tokyo, went up Skytree to look out over the whole of the city hoping for a view of more traditional buildings, but only ended up finding more of the same modern steel, concrete, and soulless creations, then it might be time to take a look at the Japan Open-Air Folk House Museum in Kawasaki. This rather quiet place has a lot to offer to people in search of old wooden traditional Japanese houses. May the woodworm be with you!
