I chose the ‘see through’ gondola option over the normal one as I wanted to fully enjoy the night view – the price was the same but I had to wait a little longer than those who went on the normal gondolas as there are only three ‘see through’ ones. During the ride, I was surrounded by the beautiful night view of Yokohama from all angles and it made me feel like I was part of the scene. Being fully engaged with the beautiful view of the lights around Yokohama Port, artistic buildings, posh hotels, Bay Bridge accompanied by the laughter of people and the gorgeous Ferris wheel itself formed a special and rather romantic atmosphere in the midst of this busy city. It was a different way to engage with Yokohama city and its night view.
