If you are wondering where and how to get that perfect photo of Mt. Fuji during your visit to Japan, this is the place to go. A stroll along the beach in Kamakura (heading to the left while facing the water) in the winter is almost a guarantee "got it" moment! The sky in winter is usually clear as a bell, and is almost the only season you can expect to see Japan's most famous and beautiful mountain just about every day. And if you plan it just right so that you are there for the sunset, the sky is often quite colorful and beautiful. Add to that a surfer or windsurfer or two, Enoshima in the background, and you are sure to go home completely satisfied!
