Kakuon-ji Temple is interesting and pretty, but don't expect to come away with any photos of the inside grounds; taking pictures is strictly prohibited. Tours, led by a priest, start at 10:00, 11:00, 13:00, 14:00 and 15:00. They are all in Japanese, but there's enough to see to make it worth your while even if you don't understand what he is saying. Or you could bring along a Japanese friend who can interpret for you. Like many temples in Kamakura, this one is quite old, having been founded in the year 1296!
