On the first day of my trip to Kamakura, it was stormy. I arrived late at Kamakura Prince Hotel, which is isolated from the hustle and bustle of tourist spots near JR Kamakura Station. It was good for tranquil vacation, but when it comes to eating, isolation causes problems. However Japanese Restaurant Kiyoyasu-tei saved me. It is the only Japanese restaurant inside the hotel, and although I had to fight my way through wind and rain to reach it (it is on the hotel grounds, but not connected to the hotel building), my effort was well rewarded. The dinner was so delicious! I finished it without any leftovers and wanted more! (it seldom happens to me) This restaurant is a subsidiary of Kiyoyasu-tei in Roppongi. You can try dining there if Kamakura is too far away for you!
