Shabu Shabu is one of those "must try" foods to add to your list when you visit Japan. Dip pieces of thinly sliced beef into boiling water, and then dip the beef into sauce. Sublime! Include a salad bar, drink bar, dessert bar, and a great selection of Japanese sake and you're all set; what more could you ask for?! Don-Tei, located in the Honmoku area of Yokohama, is a bit out of the way, but worth the trip. Only a quick taxi ride from Yamate Station, and a 10-minute walk from beautiful Sankei-en Gardens.
