Aburastsubo, down near the tip of Miura Pennisula, is home to a secret little beach that is home to the Kamahameha Beach House. With relaxing Hawaiian music blasting out over its speakers, comfortable lounge chairs to relax in that you wouldn't believe, and plenty to eat and drink, this has got to be the find of the year! Oh, did I also mention the incredible views of Mt. Fuji? I'd been to the neighborhood before (to visit the Marine Park), but never knew there was a beach down below. I will definitely be going back!

Chill out at Kamehameha in Miura
Lounge chairs, drinks, the sea, and a view of Mt. Fuji

Are we in Hawaii, or Japan -- I keep forgetting

Order a cocktail, beer, or softdrink and then just chill out

Very comfortable beach chairs

The road down to the beach, just before you come to the Marine Park

Even in late April, the weather was perfect

The beach and sunset is right there, just like in Hawaii!

That's Mt. Fuji to the right of the setting sun

How romantic can you get?!

There goes the sun

Get up from your chair and stroll for two mintues

Enjoy the most beautiful mountain in the world from the comfort of your own lounge chair

This is a great time of the year to start visiting the Miura Peninsula area of Kanagawa, and especially Aburatsubo, with its lovely Hawaiian style beach and views of Mt. Fuji. Also see: https://en.japantravel.com/kanagawa/aburatsubo-seaside-walking/4410
