A special event taking place at the Marugame Genichiro Inokuma Museum of Contemporary Art looks at the works of Genichiro Inokuma (1902 - 1993), a Japanese painter who was known for his use of rich colors and especially for the use of red, yellow, and blue. The core concept of the event is to remind us of how often we pay attention to color, both in the context of artwork and in other areas of life.
Adult admission to the event is priced at 950 yen.
The Marugame Genichiro Inokuma Museum of Contemporary Art is located just a minute on foot from Marugame Station, served by the Yosan Line.
For those who plan to drive, the museum is around 10 minutes from the Sakaide-Kita interchange on the Seto Chuo Expressway, or around 25 minutes from the Sakaide interchange on the Takamatsu Expressway. Free parking is available for up to 2 hours at the JR Marugame Station's underground parking facility.
