Ichinoseki (一関市 Ichinoseki-shi) is a city located in Iwate Prefecture, in the Tōhoku region of northern Japan. As of 1 June 2019, the city had a population of 114,922 and a population density of 91.5 persons per km² in 46,338 households.[1] It is currently the second largest city by population in the prefecture, after Morioka.
