The Niseko region in Hokkaido is known to many as being a winter wonderland that draws snow loving tourists from all around the world. As the snow melts and the hoards of tourists depart, Niseko evolves into a picturesque, festive and natural wonderland. You may expect Niseko to be a sleepy little village in the off-season but those who are lucky enough to visit during the summer will be pleasantly surprised. Not a weekend goes by without a festival or event that brings the region together and gives everyone an opportunity to enjoy the beautiful Hokkaido summer.
