Renowned Swedish ceramicist Lisa Larson has had a decades-long career in the art world, and is best known for her whimsical animal sculptures that depict everything from fish and lions to hedgehogs and cats.
A special exhibition taking place at the Hokkaido Obihiro Museum of Art will explore a variety of Larson's works under the theme of "Seen and Unseen," and the event will also include a variety of pieces on display from her late husband, painter and printmaker Gunnar Larson.
Admission to the event is priced at 1300 yen, and no advance reservations are required.
