With origins dating back to the year 1650, the Chiguko River Fireworks Festival is a world-class event billed as the largest fireworks display in western Japan. Approximately 15,000 fireworks will be launched during the 70-minute long show, which is set to light up the summer night sky with color.
Along with the incredible fireworks display to enjoy, the event will also include 350 stalls lining the river.
Admission to the event itself is free of charge, but do bring yen if you plan on purchasing food or drink. Please note the running time for the fireworks is from 7.40pm until 8.50pm.
