I introduced a Sushi Train restaurant in Fukui before, but recently I found another good Sushi Train place conveniently located inside the adjacent shopping building to JR Fukui Station. Sushi Train 'Kitano-Oyaji', literally, 'a geezer (old man) in the north', is run by a fish dealer and serves ocean-fresh fish from the local fishing ports in the Hokuriku region (Fukui, Toyama and Ishikawa). They also use local rice harvested in Fukui. The price of one plate (2-pieces of sushi) ranges from 100 yen to 700 yen. They all taste fresh and yummy! It's open from 11AM to 10PM(last order at 9:45) every day!
