Fukui is renowned for its fresh seafood. And if you live in Japan, or even outside Japan, you probably love sushi. However, if you go to a respectable sushi restaurant you should be fully loaded. Suppose you are not feeling rich but still desperately want to eat GOOD sushi? There's a place you can go; Kaisen Atom in Fukui! Here, you can enjoy good, tasty sushi made of fresh fish at a very reasonable price. Although this is a so-called 'conveyor belt sushi' restaurant, if you order directly to the chefs inside the counter they'll make the sushi for you right away! The price of one plate varies depending on the fish (100 yen to 580 yen per plate/2 pieces of sushi). Lastly, the name of the restaurant, 'Kaisen Atom', comes from of course, the famous Japanese manga, 'Astro Boy' (It's called Mighty Atom in Japan)!
