Located 30 minutes drive away from the center of Fukui City, Fukui Botanical Garden Plantopia in Echizen Town is a gigantic garden that spreads over a hillside, boasting 3,000 various kinds of plants and flowers. Unfortunately, it started to rain when I visited, and I was only able to glimpse the entrance of the spacious garden. However, while I was waiting for the rain to stop, I was able to see the various displays inside the exhibition building. For what I 'glimpsed' in the garden, please watch the video in my other story on Japan Travel.
